Join Ranger Nikki at Red Jacket Park for a deep dive into the avian family, Corvidae! This family encompasses some of the most intelligent birds; the crow, raven, magpie, and jays! Learn about these species and which ones are most common in our area! 

  • Meeting Location: Main Parking Lot (Red Jacket River Front Park - Google Maps)
  • Duration: 1-2 hours
  • Distance: Less than 1 mile
  • Elevation: One slight hill but mostly flat
  • Surface Description: Cement, dirt/mud, grassy meadow
  • Equipment Needed: Proper footwear, binoculars if you would like (will have some available for use)
  • Other: Only partially stroller / wheelchair accessible
