Emery Park "Bio-Blitz"!

Location: Emery Park - Emery Park, Shelter 8

Join Park Rangers Adam and Will as we kickoff the fall season by exploring just some of the verdant habitats Emery Park has to offer! We will be on the hunt for as many species of plants, animals, fungi as we can find, while using Seek by iNaturalist to identify what we see! This is a great program for all ages and can help provide valuable field data to scientists.

• Distance: Less than 1.5 Miles
• Elevation: Slight elevation change
• Surface Description: Following the paved park road, we will be exploring through forest edges and grasslands.
• Equipment Needed: Smartphone & download of "Seek by iNaturalist" smartphone application (available for free in the app store), and rain gear (if applicable)
• Other: No wheelchair & stroller accessibility, dogs are welcome on a leash
