Join Erie County Parks and BWELL for our 2nd annual Pollinator Festival, a free, family-friendly event! Learn about native plants, discover how to make a pollinator-friendly habitat, and what you can do to help our native pollinators! 

2nd Annual Pollinator Festival takes place on May 3 at Emery Park

Register for Walks & Workshops - Space is limited!

Join Ranger Nikki at Erie County Parks second annual Pollinator Festival and learn all about native plants and bees and their importance to our lives! Ranger Nikki will be leading a short wildflower hike at the start of the Pollinator Festival that will take you through a wonderland of blooming native flowers! Once we finish our hike join in the fun of the festival and check out the different vendors and workshops available.
 
Speaker - Sylvin Ashbrook from Grassroots Gardens WNY
Topic: Come and learn about the various native plants that you can plant in your home garden to attract a wide range of pollinators and beneficial predatory insects.
 
Speakers - Erie County Bureau of Forestry, WNY Land Conservancy, Silo City and Wild Ones WNY
Topic: How private and public land including parks, conservation parcels, and gardens are managed to increase native species and protect pollinators.
 
Join Ranger Nikki at Erie County Parks second annual Pollinator Festival and learn all about native plants and bees and their importance to our lives! Ranger Nikki will be leading a longer wildflower hike toward the end of the Pollinator Festival that will take you through a wonderland of blooming native flowers! Learn to identify the different species of wildflowers found blooming throughout the park!
Getting there:

Please be mindful of pedestrians crossing and along the roadways. 

Please park only in designated parking areas. Do not park along the roadways.
