Join Erie County Parks and BWELL for our 2nd annual Pollinator Festival, a free, family-friendly event! Learn about native plants, discover how to make a pollinator-friendly habitat, and what you can do to help our native pollinators!

Activities include:
- Wildflower Walks
- Pollinator Workshops
- Native plant sale
- Vendor and non-profit/environmental education fair, including mead, honey, natural products, and nature art (list coming soon!)
- Live animals with Kester Farms Alpacas
- Face painting
- Buffalo & Erie County Public Library Bookmobile

Join Ranger Nikki at Erie County Parks second annual Pollinator Festival and learn all about native plants and bees and their importance to our lives! Ranger Nikki will be leading a short wildflower hike at the start of the Pollinator Festival that will take you through a wonderland of blooming native flowers! Once we finish our hike join in the fun of the festival and check out the different vendors and workshops available.
Topic: Important role of beneficial insects and pollinators in an integrated pest management approach to home gardening.
Speakers - Erie County Bureau of Forestry, WNY Land Conservancy, and Wild Ones WNY
Topic: How private and public land including parks, conservation parcels, and gardens are managed to increase native species and protect pollinators.
Join Ranger Nikki at Erie County Parks second annual Pollinator Festival and learn all about native plants and bees and their importance to our lives! Ranger Nikki will be leading a longer wildflower hike toward the end of the Pollinator Festival that will take you through a wonderland of blooming native flowers! Learn to identify the different species of wildflowers found blooming throughout the park!
