Dress for the weather and conditions as we will be hiking on and off trail in search of spring ephemerals. There are no public facilities available on site. This event is geared toward anyone looking to learn about native plants, discover how to make a pollinator friendly habitat and what you can do to help our native pollinators! Image	Nature Exploration Spring Reservoir Exploration ~ Akron Falls Park ~ Sunday, May 18, 2025 10:00am - 12:00pm Location: Akron Falls - Meeting Location: Akron Falls Park – Shelter 10 Wherever land meets water there are likely to be interesting processes and living things. Come with Ranger Roy to look at what is happening at the edges of the Akron Falls Park reservoir in Spring conditions. We will try to get a look at living things at several different size scales and learn about their life cycles in the springtime. · Meeting Location: Akron Falls Park – Shelter 10 · Duration: 1-1.5 hrs. · Elevation/Trail Conditions: Event held near reservoir on a flat grassy area · Other: Limited stroller/wheelchair accessible, dogs are welcome on a leash. Bring your camping or ecological questions and pick the brains of your Erie County Park Rangers - Roast marshmallows, talk about your favorite camping gear, learn how to start a fire and more. This is a meet and great event so come and go as you please!
